HERMANVILLE, MS: Memorial services for Willie B. Johnson, 76, who died Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Claiborne County Medical Center will be announced at a later date by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson who is in charge of the arrangements. A family viewing will be held Wednesday at 11a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Johnson and Ethel Mae Banks Johnson; as on, Kenneth Wayne Banks; his grandmother, Mary Lee William; two brothers, Sam Johnson and George Johnson, Jr.; and two sisters, Lela Johnson and Sharon Coffey.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Jacinta Johnson of Port Gibson, MS; three daughters, Latonya Anderson of Memphis, TN, Shanta Banks and Stephanie (Delvin) King, both of Hermanville, MS; five step-children, Melissa (Patrick) Chambers of Dallas, TX, Ke’Andria Banks and Jayquella Miller, both of Port Gibson, MS, Rayquelle Miller of New Orleans, LA and Jarelle Miller of Vicksburg, MS; two brothers, Floyd (Peggy) Johnson of Hermanville, MS and Larry(Linda) Johnson of Vicksburg, MS; six sisters, Mary Louise (Vern) Reeves-Cameron of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lillie Cisero of Oak Park, MI, Annie Lemon of Algiers, LA, Corine Jack of Oak Park, MI, Betty (Eddie) Barnes of Hermanville, MS and Learlean Rockingham of Port Gibson, MS; 22 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
