PORT GIBSON, MS : Funeral services for Tommy Lee King, 73, who died Wednesday, November 2, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, MS, will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, November 12, at Magnolia M.B. Church with Rev. Hugh Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Turnipseed Family Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 10a.m. until service time at the Church. Due to recent events affecting the nations, we ask that you take precautions; mask must be worn and will not be provided.
Mr. King was a member of Magnolia M.B. Church. He worked at Letourneau Inc. for over 44 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt King, Sr. and Geneva Lewis King; seven brothers, Roosevelt King, David King, Gilbert King, Charles King, Elvin King, Eddie King, and Clarence King; and a sister, Thelma Walker.
Mr. King is survived by three daughters, Toni King of Frisco, TX, Treena King-Guyton of Horn Lake, MS and Tawn King of Princeton, TX; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
