PORT GIBSON, MS: Funeral services for Thomas James Hamilton, 65, who died Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at his resident, will be held at 2p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Magnolia M.B. Church with Rev. Hugh Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Grove Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Sunday, from 1p.m. until service time at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas James Hamilton, Sr. and Ella Mae Coleman Hamilton; two sisters, Sidney M. Hamilton and Mary Elizabeth Fountain; and a brother-in-law, Vernon Moore.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by two sons, Kelcey (Dathne) Heath of Houston, TX and Deshawn Giles of Port Gibson, MS; a daughter, Rachelle Parker of Vicksburg, MS; two brothers, Robert (Shirley) Anderson, Sr. of Fayette, MS and Johnny Hamilton of Port Gibson, MS; two sisters, Joyce (Charlie) Hamilton Norrell and Carolyn Hamilton Moore, both of Port Gibson, MS; two aunts, Vinnie Mae Harris of San Francisco, CA and Mary Ann Bosley of Virginia;ma grandson, Jordan Heath of Houston, TX; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
