PORT GIBSON, MS : Funeral services for Shakelia Dejonae Ellis, 26, who died Saturday, November 19, from injuries received in an automobile accident will be held at 2p.m., Saturday, November 26, at First Baptist Church in Hermanville with Minister Willie Nettles officiating. Burial will be in the Hermanville Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson, in charge of the arrangements. Due to recent events affecting the nations, we ask that you take precautions; mask must be worn and will not be provided.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Riley Lewis Ellis and Florence Ellis.
Ms. Ellis is survived by a son, Kaisen Ellis of Hermanville, MS; her parents, Alfonza and Aleva Ross of Byram, MS and Kelvin Ellis, Sr. of Crystal Springs, MS; two brothers, Kelvin Ellis, Jr. and Ayden Ross, both of Byram, Ms: a sister, Farrin Ross of Byram, MS; maternal grandparents, William and Georgia Neal of Hermanville, MS; paternal grandparents, Alfonza and Dorothy Williams of Vicksburg, MS and Hope Ross of Walls, MS; and and a number of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends including a special aunt, Pamela Hicks and uncle, Lafayette Wells, both of Hermanville, MS.
