Mrs. Stewart was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Leesville, La.  She worked at Fort Polk Youth Activity Center as a Child and youth program assistant for many years.  Her love for family, friends and classmates, her beloved Addison High School Class of 1965 always brought her back to her hometown, Port Gibson, MS and for this we are grateful. Wherever you ran into her, she was always taking a picture because she said, “Memories last a Lifetime”.

Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her parents, Albert James White and Bertha Buck White; two grandchildren, Jayden Fedderman and Jordan Fedderman; and two brothers, Lee Otis White, and A.C. White, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Earl Stewart of Leesville, LA; a son, Kervin (Tammie) Stewart of Vicksburg, MS; two daughters, Tonya Stewart Cook of Waldorf, MD and Shenita Stewart Fedderman of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren, Shawn D. Cook, Jr. of Rosedale, MD, Quentin J. Stewart of Vicksburg, MS, Ashleigh S. Fedderman of San Antonio, TX, Ayanna M. Cook of Owen Mills, MD, Camdyn E.L. Fedderman and Jonathan C. Stewart, both of Leesville, LA; two sisters, Mary E. Robinson and Ethel E. Hayes, both of Chicago, IL; three sisters-in-law, Mary White Brown of New London, CT, Shirley Hedrick of Vicksburg, MS and Alice Hedrick of Park Forest, IL; three brothers-in-law, Joe L. (Barbara) Hedrick of New Orleans, LA, Wilbert (Johnette) Hedrick of Tillman, MS and Darrel (Fonteira) Hedrick of Pattison, MS; and a host of other relatives and friends including the Addison High School Class of 1965.
