Rosie Helen Brandon

LORMAN, MS: Funeral services for Rosie Helen Armstrong Brandon, 71, who died Monday, January  5, at River Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg, Ms, will be held at 1p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Old Come and See Church with Rev. Troy Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Engleside Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from noon until service time at the church.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Armstrong and Hattie Mays; and seven brothers, Nathaniel Bell, Walter Bell, Louis Armstrong, Jr., A.C. Armstrong, Johnny L. Armstrong, Will T. Armstrong, and Eddie Armstrong.

Mrs. Brandon is survived by two daughters, Latonya Brandon and VeRonica Brandon, both of Lorman, MS; two grandchildren, Ja’Marion Johnson and Ja’Miyha Johnson, both of Lorman, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
