Rose (Summage) Jenkins

HERMANVILLE, MS:  Funeral services for Rose Summage Jenkins, 79, who passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the University of MS Medical Center, will be held at 1pm, Saturday, January 27, at First Baptist Church in Hermanville, MS with Rev. Johnny Hughes officiating.  Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Pattison, MS with Thompson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from noon until service time at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Summage and Ella McGrew; and two sons, Love Davis and Corey Mack.

She is survived by four sons, Earnest Mack(Kimberly) and Willie Mack, both of Hermanville, MS, Robin Davis of Knoxville, TN and Creeville Bradley of Hartford, CT; four daughters, Caprice Mack and Chaka Khan Davis, both of Hermanville, MS, Cherry Summage of Menifee, CA and Clover Jean Boykins(Henry) of Arcola, MS; her husband, Luster Jenkins of Hermanville, MS; a sister, Pinkie Summage of Port Gibson, MS; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
