Robert Watts

HERMANVILLE, MS:  Funeral services for Robert Watts, 56,   who died Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the Claiborne County Medical Center, will be held at Noon, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Hermanville, MS with Rev. Johnny Hughes officiating.   Burial will be in the Hermanville cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be held Friday,  from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 11a.m. until service time at the church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Watts and a brother Eugene Watts.

Mrs. Watts is survived by his wife, Vernester Watts of Hermanville, MS; a daughter, Ra’Shay Watts of Hermanville, MS; a son he raised, Vernon Gary of Hermanville, MS; five brothers, William Watts and Doug Williams, both of Hermanville, MS, Melvin Watts of Biloxi, MS, Ivan Watts of Beaumont, TX, and Milton Daniels of Clinton, MS; four sisters, Arnise Montgomery and Valerie Jones, both of Hazlehurst, MS, Juliette Washington of Utica, MS and Rebecca Ezenwannae of Clinton, MS; and a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
