Pearlie Mae (Ford) Gines

PORT GIBSON, MS : Funeral services for Pearlie Mae Ford Gines, 66, who died Monday, June 8, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, MS, will be held at 10a.m. Saturday, at New Beginnings Pentecostal Church, 5088 Hwy 61S, Port Gibson, MS 39150, with Pastor Lloyd Simmons officiating. Burial will be in McCay Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 9a.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Gines was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Ford.

She is survived by her husband, Abe Gines of Port Gibson, MS; three sons, Abe Gines, Jr. of Jackson, MS, Jeremy Gines of Port Gibson, MS and Steve Gines of Bude, MS; four brothers, Sammy Ford, Rufus Ford and Charles Ford, all of Atlanta, GA and Greg Ford of Russum, MS; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Henry of Chicago, IL and Josie (Robert) Gines-Skinner of Grand Prairie, TX; a brother-in-law, John Gines of Port Gibson, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
