Paul Stewart Jr.

PORT GIBSON, MS: Funeral services for Paul Stewart, Jr., 68, who died Thursday, March 19, at his resident, will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Magnolia M.B. Church with Rev. Hugh Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in McCay Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 10a.m. until service time at the church.   

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Stewart, Sr. and Addie Leasy Stewart; and two sisters, Sadie S. Grayer and Lucy Stewart.

Mr. Stewart is survived by three brothers, Sherman (Hillary) Stewart, Ray Earl Stewart and Joe Charles (Lucinda) Stewart, all of Port Gibson, MS; two sisters, Cleo (Charles) Dotson and Ruby (Willie)Archer both of Port Gibson, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
