Nancy Williams

PORT GIBSON, MS:  Funeral services for Nancy Marie Williams, 66,   who died Monday, June 12, 2023, in Madison, MS, will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Greater St. Mark M.B. Church in Port Gibson, MS with Rev. James Jones officiating, Rev. Bobby Tinner will do the Eulogy.   Burial will be in McCay Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 10a.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Greater St. Mark Church..

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Bo Williams and Annie Lou Trevillion Williams and a sister, Rosie Williams.

Mrs. Williams is survived by two daughters, Teneka D. Williams of Port Gibson, MS and Latory (Mike) Williams Hunter of Gulfport, MS; two brothers, Melvin James Williams of Port Gibson, MS and Rev. Bobby (Belinda) Tinner of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Mary L. McGowan of Port Gibson, MS and Deidra (Robert) Williams of Vicksburg, MS; an uncle, Charlie Williams of Port Gibson, MS; special nieces she raised, Toffee Woodard, Tina Williams and Tracy Williams, all of Port Gibson, MS; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends including special cousins and friends, Doris Carter, Priscilla Stamps, Sonya Trevillion, Dewitt Trevillion, Louise Stewart, Lillie Ruth Banks and Mosellla Williams.
