Lorman, MS: Marlon Tyrone McDonald was born October 10, 1974 to the late Leon T. McDonald and Willie Ruth Smith McDonald. He attended school in the Claiborne County School District and Utica Jr. College. He was self employed at KAM Automotive where he has fixed cars for over 25 years. He was a member of Rose Hill Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1p.m., Saturday, July 2, at Rose Hill Christian Church with Elder Walter Chambers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from noon until service time at the church.
Mr. McDonald is survived by two daughters, Alexus McDonald of Brandon, MS and Ashuntis McDonald of Denton, TX; a son, Xavior Parnell of Arlington, TX; eight sisters, Julia (John) Green and Shirley (American) Middleton, both of Port Gibson, MS, Odessa (Leroy) Whiting, Joyce McDonald, Thelma Dotson, Diann Jenkins, and Lisha Jones, all of Lorman, Ms and Cassandra Buchanan of Vicksburg, MS; seven brothers, Percy McDonald , Sylvester McDonald and Joseph (Carmella) Jenkins, all of Jackson, MS, Donald (Linda) McDonald of Vicksburg, Ms, Aaron (Vernice) McDonald and Johnny Jenkins, both of Lorman, Ms and Donald Ross of Atlanta, GA; three aunts, Leviolet Rogers of St. Louis, MO, Carrie Bolton and Deloris Brown, both of Jackson, MS ; one uncle, Samuel McDaniel of Jackson, MS; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
