PORT GIBSON, MS: Funeral services for Mamie Berry Moore, 66, who died Friday, April 4, 2025, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center will be held at 1p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Forrest Grove Christian Church with Rev. Joseph Ray officiating; Pastor Napolean O’Quinn, from Living Water Empowerment Temple will do the Eulogy. Burial will be in Little Zion Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from noon until service time at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Berry Sr. and Louise Wilson Berry.
Mrs. Moore is survived by two sons, Sirlentor Berry of Hempstead, N.Y., and Jordon Moore of Port Gibson, MS; two daughter, Almita ( Sid) Berry-Salvage of Pattison, MS and Shaneka Moore of Port Gibson, MS; three brothers, Clyde Berry, Jr., Dennis Berry and Darris Berry, all of Port Gibson, MS; two sisters, Mary Alice Wilson and Irma Dell Brandon, both of Port Gibson, MS; three aunts, Ollie Lou Shorter of Port Gibson, MS, Retha Davis of Lorman, MS and Gussie Pearl Wilson of Pattison, MS; 7 grandchildren, Javarious, Jahkeria, Jordon, Jr., Ayden, JorquaVeon, Keaaron Brady and Ari’Onna and 1 great grand daughter, Skylynn; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
