LORMAN, MS: Funeral services for Lillie Mae Dee, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the Claiborne County Medical Center will be held at 11a.m., Friday, May 24, 2024, at New Christian Fellowship Church with Bishop Randal Burge officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Christian Church cemetery in Lorman, MS with Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Friday, from 10a.m. until service time at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Dee, Jr.; her parents, Jack Theodore Hill and Mary Hill Lee; a son, Dudley Dee; a sister, Dorothy Branhan and a brother, Melvin Lee.
Mrs. Dee is survived by four daughters, Etta (Jerrold) Browning of Little Rock, AR, Inez (Joseph) Coleman of Fayette, MS, Brenda (Keafer) Grimes of Vicksburg, MS and Debra Dee of Lorman, MS; three sisters, Estella Davis of Chicago, Il, Deloris Cooper of Dallas, TX, Murrel (Charles) Trevillion of LaPlace, LA and Carolyn Barnes of Redlick, MS; a brother, Samuel (Betty J.)Hills of Phoenix, AZ; three grandsons, DeJovon (Chasity) Coleman of Clinton, MS, Kedron Coleman of Fayette, MS and Lee Grimes of Greenville, S.C.; a granddaughter, Ineshia Coleman of Canton, MS; brother-in-law, Sammie Davis, Jr. of Kankakee, IL; sister-in-law, Lillie Hollis of Kankakee, IL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
