Kenneth Lenard Brown

PORT GIBSON, MS:  Funeral services for Kenneth L. Brown, 63,   who died Thursday, April 20, at the Bluff in Vicksburg, will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Ashland M.B. Church.   Burial will be in the church cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday from 10a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his grandmother, Matilda Brown; his parents, Clarence Battle and Ora Mae Brown Anderson.

He is survived by a son, Derrick Brown of Gulfport, MS; two daughters, Kanesha Brown and Khadijah D. Ross, both of Gulfport, MS; a special friend, Juanita Ross of Gulfport, MS; three sisters, Gloria Brown of Highland, CA, Darlene Johnson of Milwaukee, Wi, and Tonia Brown of Port Gibson, MS; an aunt, Edna Blunt of Milwaukee, WI; a granddaughter, Miracle Lea Evans of Gulfport, MS and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
