Jonetta (Johnson) Hedrick

PORT GIBSON, MS:  Funeral services for Jonetta Johnson Hedrick, 61,   who died Tuesday, May 2, at her resident, will be held at 2p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Mt. Burner M.B. Church with Rev. Ray Coleman officiating.   Burial will be in the Ingleside  Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday from 2p.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Hedrick was preceded in death by her son, Adrian Johnson; her parents, Sam Johnson and Josephine Turner-Johnson; a brother, Samuel Johnson and a sister, Brenda Johnson-Keller.

Mrs. Hedrick is survived by her husband, Donald R. Hedrick, Sr. of Pattison, Ms; a granddaughter, Adrianna Johnson of Vicksburg, MS; a grandson, Geramiah London of Vicksburg, MS; two brothers, Robert Johnson and Leon Johnson, both of Port Gibson, MS; four sisters, Elizabeth Kelly of Hermanville, MS, Rachel Martin and Pamela (Bobby) Johnson, both of Port Gibson, MS and Wendy Lee of Vicksburg, MS; two step-sons, Donald R. Hedrick, Jr. of Temple, TX, and Shenaelt R. Hedrick of North Carolina; three step-daughters, Jaquan Jefferson of Killeen, TX, Jeanetta O. Hedrick of North Carolina and Dawn M. Hedrick of Sacremento, CA; six step grandchildren and a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
