Johnny Lee Nichols

PASCAGOULA, MS : Funeral services for Johnny Lee Nichols, 51,   who died Saturday, November 26, in Moss Point, MS,  will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, December 10,  at Forest Grove Christian Church  with Rev. Tracy Collins officiating.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson, in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be held on Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 10a.m. until service time at the Church. Due to recent events affecting the nations, we ask that you take precautions; mask must be worn and will not be provided.   

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Shorter-Nichols; a brother, Bennie Nichols, Jr.; two nephews, Kendrick Nichols and Joseph Stampley; and a great-niece, Brooklyn Moore. 

Mr. Nichols is survived by a son, Jonathan Beverly of Pascagoula, MS; his father, Bennie Nichols, Sr. of Redlick, MS; six brothers, George E. Nichols of Redlick, Ms, Carl E. Nichols of Port Gibson, MS, Jerry L. Nichols and David B. Nichols, both of Fayette, MS, Calvin L. Nichols of Pascagoula, MS and Pernell Nichols of Vicksburg, MS; seven sisters, Rosie L. Stampley, Katie M. Anderson, Velma Nichols, Lillie Nichols, and Emma Nichols, all of Fayette, MS, Essie L. Smith of Vicksburg, MS and Nicky D. Nichols of Walls, MS; three grandchildren and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
