Jacqueline Reed

PORT GIBSON, MS:  Funeral services for Jacqueline Lynette Reed, 60,   who died Friday, May 5, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, will be held at 2p.m., Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Mercy Seat M.B. Church with Rev. Frank McGriggs officiating and Rev. Ray Coleman doing the Eulogy.   Burial will be in the Mercy Seat Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Sunday  from 1p.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her parents, Adam Reed, Sr. and Rosie B. Ross-Reed; and a uncle, Zachary Parker.

She is survived by two daughters, Erica (Corey) Kaho of Natchez, MS and Tiesha Bell of Port Gibson, MS; three grandchildren, Ju’Kerica Wright of Port Gibson, MS, CourMoria Kaho and Cor’Riyah Kaho, both of Natchez, MS; a brother, Adam Reed, Jr. of Vicksburg, MS; two sisters, Mary Ann Reed-Wright of Vicksburg, MS and Sandra Waites of Port Gibson, MS; two uncles, Andrew Parker of Atlanta, GA and Willie Roy Parker of Port Gibson, MS; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
