Gloria Patterson

PORT GIBSON, MS : Funeral services for Gloria Patterson, 58,  who died Saturday, July 16, at the Mississippi Care Center in Greenville, MS, will be held at 2p.m.,  Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Springhill M.B. Church with Rev. Barry Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 2p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Sunday, from 1p.m. until service time at the church. Due to recent events affecting the nations, we ask that you take precautions; mask must be worn and will not be provided.

Ms. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Ruby Patterson.

She is survived by three brothers, Jimmy Patterson of Port Gibson, MS, Oliver Patterson of Lake Charles, LA and Miles Ray Patterson of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Mary Patterson and Daisy Patterson, both of Port Gibson, MS; 1 uncle, Sammy Davis, Jr. of Kankakee, IL; one aunt, Lillie Hollis of Kankakee, IL; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends including a special cousin Tracy Davis Ellis of Port Gibson, MS.
