Glenn Lionel Reed

FAYETTE, MS: Funeral services for Glenn Lionel Reed, 66, who died Monday, September 16, 2024, at the University of MS Medical Center will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Hollywood Baptist Church in Fayette, MS  with  Rev. Eli Colenburg officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 10a.m. until service time at the church. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Reed, Jr.; and a brother, Robert Reed.

Mr. Reed is survived by his mother, Hazel Brown of Fayette, MS; a son, Glenn Reed of Miami, FL; two daughters, Demetria (Shomari) Burrell of Clinton, MS and Renata Rankin of Vicksburg, MS; two brothers, Calvin Reed and Ben Reed, Jr., both of Fayette, MS; three sisters, Catherine Reed, Shirley Reed-Williams and Rachel C. Reed, all of Fayette, MS; three grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
