George White IV Obituary

REFLECTIONS OF LIFE                                A Life Born of Love, Raised with Purpose, and Defined by Passion"

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. II Timothy 4:7-8.

Celebrating Life

In this world, some souls leave an indelible mark, and George Ladell White IV, affectionately known as "Hooty", “5”, and “Mr. PTSO” was one such soul. George was born July 13, 1997, to George White III and Kedra NeShay White in Vicksburg, MS, at Vicksburg Hospital.  From the moment he entered the world, he brought light, joy and energy to everyone around him with an undeniable sense of style and a heart full of love, especially to his brother Demarius.  He was together loved and raised by his devoted Godparents Calvin and Sharon Richardson, alongside their children; God Siblings (Maranda, Calvin Jr, Charlisia Richardson and Raheem Harvey).  He embraced life with passion and purpose.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ukal Claiborne, J.P. & Fannie Collins; Eli and Hattie Sayles; George “GW” and Annie White; Uncles: Willie “Sonny” Beasley, Maurice “Dipper” White and Ukal Claiborne, Jr.; Aunts, Ethel Brooks, Mary Shelton; Cousin, Keith Lamont Beasley Jr., and ABM brothers: Leroy Neal, D’quaveon Hill and Malik Haynes.

Family and friends were the foundation of George’s life. He cherished his loved ones deeply, and his relationships reflected a spirit of loyalty and love.  Though George’s journey ended far too soon on September 9, 2024, at the Claiborne County Hospital, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, etc., and his impact will be felt for generations. His strength, warmth, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who know him.

"He leaves behind a legacy in the hearts of many to cherish his memories: a loving mother, Kedra NeShay Beasley White; his father, George Ladell White III (Yolanda); Grandparents, Curley Beasley, George and Annie White all of Pattison, MS; his Devoted Godparents, Calvin and Sharon Richardson of Pattison, MS.; Brothers, Demarius Beasley of Pattison, MS, and Geordon White of Port Gibson, MS; Sisters:  JaDaisha Davis, Gabrielle White, Jaquala Johnson, LaQuanda McGrew, and Alexia Montgomery; Uncles, Damone Beasley (Anitra), Keith Beasley, Sr. (Tina), Kelby Beasley, Carolyn Claiborne, Sandra Claiborne, Telly Washington, Sr. (Tiffany), Tremaine Washington ; Aunts, Yulonda “Shiree Craft (Harry), Shalonda “Shug” White, Omega White, Evelyn Washington and Edith Chippley; God aunt/Cousin, Felicia Brandon (Arthur); nieces, D’Miyah and D’Kiyah Beasley; nephews/4-wheeler buddies:  Khylan Dotson, Kemarrion Neal, and Cody Richardson; ABM Brothers & Sisters: Lonnie Oquinn, Nicholas Paige, Guy Hunter, Andre Jenkins, Eric Jackson, Earl Wells, Michael Davis, Jr., Shlecia Jenkins,  De’Neisha Anderson , Favien Hedrick, and Michael Davis Jr.
