Freddie James Henson Jr.

PORT GIBSON, MS : Funeral services for Freddie James Henson, Jr.,  64,  who died Saturday, September 30, 2023, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS, will be held at 2p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Port Gibson, MS with Rev. Ray Coleman officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be held on Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 1p.m. until service time at the chapel.    

He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Henson, Sr.and Betty Mosley; and a son, FreddieHenson, III.

Mr. Henson is survived by his lifelong friend, Eula Davis of Port Gibson, MS; a daughter, Charbeulah Angel Ubadi of Port Gibson, MS; two grandchildren, Samera Ubadi and Skylar Davis, both of Port Gibson, MS; and a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
