Francine (Alexander) Reed

Francine Alexander Reed was born on June 10, 1958 in Natchez,

Mississippi and was called home on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Merit Health

River Oaks in Flowood, Mississippi joining her husband, John Reed; one

son, Craig Alexander; parents-Lola Mae Jones Davis and Freddie Lee

Alexander, Sr.; (2)sisters, Shirley Marie Williams and Wendy McCay; (2)

brothers, Freddie Lee Alexander, Jr. and Calvin Alexander; grandparents,

Seborn Jones Sr. and Mattie Bell Jones; Reuben Alexander Jr. and Eddie

W. Alexander in eternal rest.

Francine accepted Christ at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in

Lorman, MS at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Woodly.

She leaves to cherish her memories two (3) daughters, Veronica Alexander

of Vicksburg, MS, Kristen LaTasha Alexander White(Dumeria) of Port

Gibson, MS, and Jacquline Newton of Brookhaven Ms; (1) son, Johnnie

Reed Jr. of Chicago Illinois; (4) sisters, Glendora Alexander-Muhammad of

Port Gibson, MS, Delphine Turner (Willie) of Hampton, GA, Carolyn Rowan

of Biloxi, MS, Stacey White (Willie) of Port Gibson, MS; (4) brothers, Bobby

Leroy Alexander of Lorman, MS, Donald Lee Alexander of Port Gibson,

MS, Frederick Alexander (Markila) of PortGibson, and Isiah Davis of

Lorman Ms; (1)Godson, Elmontra Rankin of Fayette Ms; one (1)

sister-in-law, Terry Ann Alexander of Natchez, MS; (11)grandchildren;

Jermeshia, Jasmine, Courtney , Ulonda (Trevor), Dazijha, Shalonda,

De’Brisha, Demaiya, Jamarion and D’onte;(8) great grandchildren;

Da’Ziyah, Dwayne III, Ja’Siyah, Maleah, Da’Liyah, Kaizen, Daylen, and 

Traeshaun. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
