Eddie McGrew

PORT GIBSON, MS:  Funeral services for Eddie L. McGrew, 62,   who died Sunday, May 28, 2023 at his resident, will be held at 2p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Mt. Burner M.B. Church in Hermanville, MS with Rev. Ray Coleman officiating.    Burial will be in the Whitehall Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday from 1p.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. McGrew was preceded in death by his parents, Gentle P. McGrew and Sadie Jackson McGrew; a brother, Leroy McGrew and a sister, Dorothy Hill.

He is survived by three brothers, Arthur (Katie) McGrew of Milwaukee, WI, Ivy McGrew of Chicago, IL and Bobby Jackson of Hermanville, MS; five sisters, Lisa McGrew of Detroit, MI, Niena (Bennie) Williams of Dolton, IL, Sadie McGrew of Hermanville, MS, Ethel McGrew of Pattison, MS and Joann McGrew of Chicago, IL; two aunts, Edith Bailey of Vicksburg, MS and Mattie Jackson of Port Gibson, MS; a special friend, Marilyn Epherson of Pattison, MS and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
