Eddie Lee Hedrick

PORT GIBSON, MS: Funeral services for Eddie Lee Hedrick, 62,  who died Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his resident, will be held at 2p.m., Saturday, January 7, at Rose Hill Christian Church  with Rev. Freddy Harris officiating.   Burial will be in the Church Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday , from 1p.m. until service time at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Hedrick and Olivia Bruce Hedrick; his daughter, Angela Farmer; five sisters, Beatrice Hedrick, Dorothy Washington, Easter Olivia Marshall, Lula Mae Harris, Gertrude Harris, and George Harris.

Mr. Hedrick is survived by his wife, Evelyn Farmer Hedrick of Port Gibson, MS; two sons, Eddie Farmer and Daryl Farmer, both of Port Gibson, MS; a daughter, Sophia Elizabeth Farmer of Port Gibson, MS;  eleven brothers, Luther Hedrick, Gregory Hedrick, Henry Harris, Alex Harris, John C. Harris, Robert Harris, and Nathaniel Harris, all of Port Gibson, MS, Floyd Hedrick and Earnest Harris, both of Chicago, Il, Calvin Boston of Philadelphia, PA, and Freddy Harris of Lorman, MS; nine sisters, Mary Cruell of Fayette, MS, Ola M. Davis, Clara Wells, Janice Mitchell, Annie Hedrick and Jennifer Armstrong, all of Port Gibson, MS, Patricia Brady and Lillie Ruth Harris, both of Vicksburg, MS, and Gloria Harris of Monroe, LA; a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
