LORMAN, MS: Graveside services for Earl Joseph O’Quinn, 66, who died Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Claiborne County Hospital, will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Smithland Baptist Church Cemetery, 1360 U.S. 61N, Natchez, MS 39120 with Pastor Ernest Ford, Jr. officiating. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. O’Quinn worked at Alcorn State University in the cleaners and for building in grounds for over 30 years until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie McDonald and Carzenia O’Quinn; a brother, Willie Jeff O’Quinn; and four sisters, Katie Jean Gray, Harriett Gilmore, Delois Burks and Hazel Gibson.
Mr. O’Quinn is survived by four brothers, Carl Bell, Charles (Gloria) Bell, Napoleon (Amanda) O’Quinn and Daniel (Cynthia) O’Quinn; four sisters, Rosie Lee (Willie) Bell-Hunter, Diann (Burrell) Harris, Linda McDonald and Cynthia Smith; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
