Crassandra Faye White

PORT GIBSON, MS: Funeral services for Crassandra F. White , 60, who died  Saturday, August 25, 2024, at Merit Health River Oaks  in Flowood, MS will be held at 2p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2024 at Springhill M.B.  Church, with Rev. Barry Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 1p.m. until service time at the church. 

She was a member of Rising Sun M.B. Church where she was in the choir. She worked at Ameristar Casino in Security for a number of years.

Ms. White is survived by two sons, Kendrick Dotson and Rodney White, both of Port Gibson, MS; five grandchildren, Zoe’ White of Port Gibson, MS, Kennedy White and Rodney White, Jr., both of Jackson, Ms, Kei’money Miller of Carlisle, MS and Adrianna Flowers of Pattison, MS; her mother, Julia Dotson of Port Gibson, MS; two brothers, Rodney Dotson of Port Gibson, MS and Deddrit Dotson of Vicksburg, MS; two sisters, Sharron Thompson of Port Gibson, Ms and Tonia Dotson of Jackson, MS; an uncle. Elvis White of Tulsa, OK; four aunts, Shirley White-Hunt of Jackson, MS, Carrie Wilson of Port Gibson, MS, Deloris Trevillion of Terry, MS and Vannie Sturgis of Clinton, MS; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
