Christopher NuNu Walker

HERMANVILLE, MS: Funeral services for Christopher “NuNu”  Walker, 39,   who died Sunday, August 13, from injuries received in an automobile accident, will be held at 2p.m., Saturday, August 19,  at Magnolia M.B. Church in Port Gibson, MS with Rev. Hugh Johnson officiating, Rev. Frank Curtis will do the Eulogy. Burial will be in Freedman Hall Cemetery in Hermanville, MS with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.  Visitation will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel from 1 p.m. until 5p.m. and Saturday, from 1p.m. until service time at the church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Lula Walker; a brother, Charles Wren, Jr. and an uncle, Daniel Walker.

Mr. Walker is survived by his parents,  Alice and Charles Wren, Sr. both of Hermanville, MS; a brother, Chauncey (Clydranet) Walker of Hermanville, MS; two sisters, Quan’Neesha Wren of Hermanville, MS and Shamea Hardy of Phoenix, AZ; four children, Christopher Walker, Jr., Kenterrious Johnson, Jayceon McCalpin, and Jakayla Bridges, all of Hermanville, MS; two grandchildren, Littiani Walker of Vicksburg, Ms and K’yion Ford of Fayette, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
