Carolyn Raquel Rowan

PORT GIBSON, MS:  Graveside services for Carolyn Raquel Rowan, 75, who passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at her resident, will be held at 10a.m., Saturday, February 24,2024, at Scott’s Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Frank Curtis officiating.  There will be no public visitation.

Ms. Rowan was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Rowan and Ruth Carpenter; a brother, Raymond Watson and a grandson, Derrick Rowan.

She is survived by a son, Cyril Rowan of Hermanville, MS; four grandchildren, Angela Moore of Pattison, MS, Don’trell Rowan of Jackson, MS, Arizona Rowan and Markessia Rowan, both of Hermanville, MS; two special god children, Alice Wren of Hermanville, MS and Belinda Jackson-Hunt of Port Gibson, Ms; and a host of aunts, uncle, and other relatives and friends.
