In the year 2012, Carl moved to Gulfport, Mississippi, where he built a new chapter of life with his adopted brothers Kevin and CJ. Together they became known as the “Three Musketeers”—inseparable, loyal, and united through every victory and hardship. Their bond was a true example of brotherly love, one that remained unbroken until Carl’s heavenly transition. Carl was employed with Treasure Bay Casino, where he was known as a dependable, hardworking, and dedicated employee. He approached every task with integrity and humility, gaining the respect of coworkers and friends. Whether at home, at work, or among family, Carl demonstrated a steadfast spirit—never complaining, always offering his best.
He had a quiet way of showing care—through his presence, his loyalty, and his gentle heart. Those who knew him felt his sincerity, kindness, and the warmth of his spirit.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Jones; his grandparents,
Aunts: Loretta, Johnnie, and Ernestine; Uncles: William, Curvin, Kenneth, Baron, and Antonio.
Carl is survived by his mother, Sandra Weddington Powell of Port Gibson, MS; his brothers, Ronald Jones, Jr. (Tory) and Lloyd Jones, both of Port Gibson, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
