Bryan Compton

Graveside services for Bryan Compton, 57,  who died Monday, October 10, at  River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, MS will be held at 1p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2022, at McCay Cemetery with Rev. Ray Coleman officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel.  Due to recent events affecting the nations, we ask that you take precautions; mask must be worn and will not be provided.  

Mr. Compton was preceded in death by his parents, John Compton and Helen Hunter Compton; two brothers, Terry Compton and Myron Spiller; grandparents, Mary Stewart and Johnny and Marie Braxton Compton; an uncle, Charles Stewart and an aunt, Flora M. Reed.

He is survived by two daughters, Breyana Graham and Tamika Graham, both of Port Gibson, MS; two sisters, Gale Compton of Port Gibson, MS and Markelia Green Rhem of Orlando, FL; three brothers, William Maurice Henderson of Shawnee, KS, John Compton of Orlando, FL and Ruben Compton of Port Gibson, MS; a special niece, Na’Shaundra Jackson of Port Gibson, MS; a special nephew,  Jamaal Martin of Port Gibson, MS; grandchildren, William Jackson, Markei Graham, A’laila Williams and Keilan Evans; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
