PORT GIBSON, MS : Funeral services for Bobby Crystain, 79,, who died Thursday, November 10, at his resident, will be held at 11a.m., Thursday, November 17, at Campbell Chapel Church with Rev. Joseph Jones officiating. Burial will be in the church Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson, in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Thursday, from 10a.m. until service time at the Church. Due to recent events affecting the nations, we ask that you take precautions; mask must be worn and will not be provided.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Crystain, Sr. and Martha Shorter-Crystain; a daughter, Keshia Hedrick; a brother, Eph Crystain; three sisters, Pearlena Banks, Sarah Hicks and Martha Crystain.
Mr. Crystain is survived by a son, Derrick Hedrick of Pattison, MS; four daughters, Candace Hedrick and Barbara Crystain, both of Pattison, MS, Melissa (Robert) Walker and Roselyn (Arthur) Turner, both of Hermanville, MS; two granddaughters he raised, Anyia Hedrick and Ashley Hedrick, both of Pattison, MS; a brother, Eddie Crystain, Jr. of Hermanville, MS; five sisters, Ollie Windom, Myrtle Odoms, and Florene Banks, all of Hermanville, MS, Gertrude McGloster and Geraldine Nash, both of Port Gibson, MS; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
