FORT WORTH, TX: Funeral services for Ayairia Me’Arie Anderson, 21, who died on Monday, June 12, 2023 and her stillborn baby, Kedari Ja’Khi Anderson Davis, who died on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, in Jackson, MS will be held at 11:30a.m., Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the Port Gibson High School Gymnasium in Port Gibson, MS with Rev. Ray Earl Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, from 10:30a.m. until service time at the school.
Ayairia was a member of Friendship West, pastored by Fredrick Hayes. She later joined Grace Temple of Praise where she was an active member of the Praise Dance and Mime ministry.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Willie L. Anderson.
Ms. Anderson is survived by her mother, Anitra (Lonell, Sr.) Earl of Fort Worth, TX; her father, Melvin Anderson of Kosciusko, MS; two sisters, Azaria Anderson of Fort Worth, TX and Robbrecka Quarles of Memphis, TN; four step-siblings, Darris Savage, Lonell Earl, Jr., Kiana Williams, and Lonell Earl III, all of Port Gibson, MS; maternal grandparents, Alice Jones and Charles Odom, both of Port Gibson, MS; paternal grandmother, Allie N. Winters of Kosciusko, MS; maternal great-grandparents, Roosevelt and Lenora Dotson, of Port Gibson, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and other relatives and friends including special nieces and nephew, Me’Khi Anderson, A’Kashi Anderson and Londynn Quarles.
